Cult Classic; Morphe 350m

I was lucky enough to grab one of the Morphe 350m palettes from Beauty Bay when they sneakily dropped them online. At £19.50 for an abundance of shadows with a variety of colours I was so excited to try it!

When using the shadows I noticed straight off the bat that there was no fallout or kick up of the product which was surprising, because on first impressions the shades looked bit chalky!
The colours blended so nicely and allowed me to create a variety of eye looks, I really enjoyed using this palette and can see myself using this palette on a daily basis!

The real standouts for me are the red and orange tones, they are super beautiful and are really great for creating amazing eye looks.

I would highly recommend this palette if you can get your hands on it, because in all honesty £19.50 for a palette of this quality is an amazing price.

Pouting for Summer! My Top 5 Out There Lipsticks For This Summer!

As an avid lipstick fan the summer period is when I can really experiment with out there shades and combos which I wouldn't usually rock in the colder months! Heres  an overview of my top 5 out there lipsticks for the summer months!

1) KYLIE COSMETICS - MARY JO K

Kylie Jenner has done a super duper job in creating a liquid lipstick craze and I myself have been drawn in big time! Ive been lucky enough to get every shade I've wanted without having to stress! Mary Jo is a beautiful crimson colour and one I cannot keep off of my lips! This would be a perfect all day shade that can also transition to night time glam!! I mean just look at it!! The formula isn't too shabby either, it doesn't feel drying or heavy on the lips and doesn't really need reapplying which is a bonus, if you can manage to grab this a lip kit I would really opt for this one, you won't be disappointed  💁🏼

2) JEFFREE STAR - DIRTY MONEY

SHOW ME THE MONEY! Do you get it? no? okay well its a film reference but never mind lets talk lipstick! This colour is EVERYTHING! This green liquid lipstick has become an addiction to me! paired with a subtle eye this bad boy does all the talking! I love Jeffree Stars line of lipsticks and this was one I wasn't too sure about but BOY WAS I WRONG! I hold my hands up I thought this one was not me.... how wrong I was! This colour gives me life and makes my lips look so full. The formula is seriously good and doesn't budge for a vast amount of time which I love because reapplying lipstick to me is a very boring job! If you haven't tried any of the JS range yet... stop right now and order some because you will not regret it!

3) URBAN DECAY - HEROINE

This beautiful bundle of blue goodness is one of my most recent purchases and something I've had my eye on since UD released their new line of lipsticks. Heroine is a royal blue with a comfort mate finish and oh boy is this beautiful! Just one glide on the lips coats them with a full colour and I have to say it added so much volume to my lips! Paired with a natural eye or even a pop of colour this is going to be not only my summer essential but an all time favourite!!

4) JEFFREE STAR - JAWBREAKER

I love me a Jeffree Star lip and this shade is one I've been trying to get ahold of for a while and one that has been out of stock for such a long time! I seem to be slightly obsessed with blue lipsticks recently and Jawbreaker is a beautiful bright blue shade, similar to that of Pool Boy by OCC. When I popped it on my lips it was as if the heavens parted, I fell hard instantly! Its not a shade for everyone  or everyday but if you have the confidence I would highly recommend it! This shade would be awesome for a pool party or festival!!

5) LIME CRIME -  PEACOCK

DON'T KILL ME I actually really like this lipstick and yes I know its by a company thats had bit of 'history' but I can't help but love this colour! Peacock is just beautiful! A colour I have yet to find a dupe for, a colour I cannot get enough of! One swipe of this bad boy and your lips will be calling out LOOK AT ME! The formula is pretty good but I do usually have to reapply throughout the day which is something to think about! This beautiful teal blue shade really adds a pop of colour to any look and is one I am deffo keeping close to me this summer!

Freshers Week Fun!!! Tips And Advice On Your First Week At Uni!!

University is an exciting time for many! Not knowing what to expect, who you will meet? or if you are moving to a different surroundings....where to eat and shop!!!

If you don't know what Freshers week is its basically the first week at university without classes and studying, and is where you meet the majority of the people you will spend you uni life hanging out with. Whether that be your roommates or people you meet out and about! Freshers Angels are always about to offer you help and advice and direct you to places you might want to go to! They are so lovely and friendly so don't be scared to approach them.

My biggest advice is to take the time to get to know and make friends with your roommates! You are all in the same situation and are feeling the same things so take that into consideration and take the time to get to know them! You are going to be spending a substantial amount of time with these people for the next year if not longer  so don't let petty arguments or shyness get in the way of you feeling comfortable in your own home! Luckily for me I joined a Facebook page for my course and got in touch with someone called Danica she quickly became one of my best friends at Uni and I still talk to her a lot to this day!

During freshers week it may seem daunting and alien but take advantage of all the activities you can take part in and don't be scared of talking to new people. The university does these activities to make you feel more comfortable since most students are moving away from home for the first time!

Take advantage of the clubs and societies the university has to offer!! University offer a society for pretty much everything. This is where you can meet a lot of people with similar interests to you and helps you to connect with new people!

Freshers Fair is a great way to see what your University has to offer outside of University such as nightlife, travel and shopping! This is also where you will get your intro and Student ID card...The holy grail item for that all important Student Discount!!!

Partying is a HUGE part of Freshers and is what most people associate it with! If your into partying great and if your not thats fine! don't try and change who you are to impress people because you will find people that enjoy the same things you do without forcing you to do the things you don't. This period is also a great time to test out the places and clubs without the hassle of class in the morning!! They also tend to have Freshers Ball with live music, food and drinks and is tonnes of fun. Its a great excuse to get all dressed up and let your hair down.

Student Finance is amazing but make sure to budget yourself and not go overboard with spending because it needs to last you for a long period of time and considering this is the time and place to prove your independent you don't want to have to ask your parents for money!! I remember one of my roommates in first year spent the majority of her loan in the first week including her rent money!! Which the University and her parents didn't appreciate!!

I hope you enjoyed my Tips for freshers week!! I myself have been through this and know how daunting it can be! Honestly don't worry and just be yourself and you will be fine! If you want to ask me any questions then please do and comment below!

Stationary Tips for Uni/College

Hello Lovely's! Today I'm going to be talking about my top 10 stationary must haves you need for studying wherever you are heading whether that be University or college!

1) I know many of you are thinking about taking a laptop or tablet to class with you and yeah thats a good idea but you don't want to be stuck in class with no battery life and no charging ports because trust me its a nightmare! Also if your using a laptop in class MAKE SURE TO BACK YOUR WORK UP! you don't want to have spent hours typing away only to end up deleting it and you can't get it back! So Think and Sync!!!

2) Put a Ring on it! Take a ring binder to class because you will end up getting lots of handouts, some which are very important such as hand in and exam dates! So make sure you get a decent folder for you to organise these in! You won't regret it.

3) Buy multiple pens and pencils! When it comes down to pens make sure you buy in bulk because you will go through loads! Mainly because you will end up losing them or lending them to people who never return them ( pen thief's!! ). Make sure these pens won't run out at the worst moment because you don't want to be halfway through writing and BAM no more ink *cries*. You can get some really nice looking ones with super cool designs that can seriously help brighten up your pencil case!

4) Highlighters on Fleek! Highlighters will be your best friend, using highlighters to mark out the most important points will save you ALOT of time during exams, which will leave more time to study! Highlighting also makes your work look more colourful and attractive which will help you to focus and take things in during the learning process.

5) Ive got Notebooks and Notepads a plenty! I know you all want fabulous stationary but make sure its affordable and practical because you will go through more notepads then you will hot dinners! especially in your first year where there is so much information to take in! These will also be your best study material when it comes to exams and coursework so make sure your notes are clear and concise.  My biggest advice would be to focus more on what the lecturer is saying and write that down rather than taking notes from the slides because most lecturers will have their slides readily available for you to download!

6) It's a Stick up!! Sticky notes always come in handy especially for writing important notes or reminders and are great to pop into a diary or onto a calendar. You can also get some really unique designs such as Doughnuts or animals which can add a quirky touch to any notebook!

7) Let me check my Diary! A diary or calendar is a great essential to have, writing down your exam dates, due dates or social plans make it so much easier to remember or plan ahead. When I was at uni I wish I had purchased one because it would have made things so much easier! It wasn't until I started blogging that I realised the importance of a diary!

8) Bags Bags Bags!! Make sure to get yourself a bag that will hold all of your stationary swell as other essentials. I always take a backpack with me because I find it easier to carry all my essentials! But make sure not to clutter it too much so that you can't find anything!!!

9) Notice Me! A notice board is a great idea to get your attention for certain thing such as dates or reminders! you can also decorate it with pictures from home or items that remind you of good times!

10) USB Me! USB and Harddrives will save your life...literally! Stock up on these babies because they are great for transferring data and coursework to study at University/College in the library rather than carrying Loads of notebooks! Its also a great tool for sharing notes with your friends rather than having to hand write everything!

So there it is my Top 10 Stationary must haves!! I hope you enjoyed it and stay tuned because ill be dropping a new post tomorrow!!

Excuse my extreme resting bitchface!

Put Your best Face Forward- Tarte Cosmetics Review

A few weeks ago I was watching QVC when a segment on Tarte Cosmetics came up. I had played around with this brand when I was in America at my local Sephora, but hadn't owned anything by them and had no idea you could get their products in the UK, so I was instantly intrigued!
If you don't who/what Tarte Cosmetics are they are a cosmetics brand who are committed to delivering real results for real woman, the eco -chic, the best friend etc. Tate cosmetics range is cruelty-free and infused with super fruits, plant extracts, essential oils and other naturally- derived ingredients. Amazonian clay plays a big part in all their products and are all hand sourced for this makeup range. At first glance a few years prior I didnt really believe everything the brand was trying to sell...boy was I wrong! I watched the segment on QVC and the application of each product and have to say I was blown away! Lets just say I ended up ordering more than a few things! Here are  the I items I picked up and my first impressions on them.
The Tartlette Palette is one that I have had my eye on for a while and when I saw it for just £28.00! I knew I had to have it. All the shades are neutral tones and are named after different types of woman or as they like to call them Tartelettes ( hence the palette name), such as Free Spirit and Super Mom. The shades are all matte and are fused with amazonian clay to give them this really smooth texture. The payoff is amazing and the smallest amount manages to cover the entire lid. Im so impressed with this palette. The whole consistency, colour payoff and colour range is something I love, and wouldn't hesitate getting another palette from Tarte. The deal on QVC also included a brush which is double ended, one side for blending and the other is for applying the product. I really like this and bristles are honestly the softest I have ever felt on a brush!!
I also purchased the special value of the day which was the Tarte 6 Piece Best Face Forward Make-Up Collection & BagOne of the products was this Coloured Clay CC Primer Stick in the shade Fair. I really liked this its pretty full coverage and I only used it on a few areas of my face because I felt it was really thick but it did the job and lasted all day without moving the foundation etc. The colour really suited my skin type too and matched it almost perfectly. This is going to be something I will be reaching for more often!

This really caught my eye and was something I had heard alot about. The Lights Camera Lashes Mascara  is a 4 in 1lengthening, curling, volumising and conditioning. When I used this I was in shock, it completely thickened my lashes and lengthened them so much without any clumping. I am so impressed and this was by far my favourite product I picked up! I found the packaging a tad strange but other than that it was amazing and something I will keep repurchasing!
The set came with the Lipsurgence in the shade Vintage. I found the texture very nourishing and the colour was very nice but I didn't find anything that made it any different to any other product I have seen so wasn't too impressed with this product and probably wouldn't repurchase this product.
The set also included a Coloured Clay Bronzer Blush with colour correcting. I love the way it adds a flush of colour and isn't too heavy or deep in colour. Also included was a  Amazonian clay eyeshadow quad in a brightly packaged box. The colours are all daily wearable and each one packs so much product onto the lid it lasts all day! I have a feeling that Tarte eyeshadows are going to be a big thing for me in the future!
I love the fact that with each Tarte product you but on QVC they give you the brush that accompanies the product! Not many companies do this and this was one of the reasons I was so excited to purchase some goodies from them! The brushes are seriously the softest I have felt in a long time and even after use the bristles remain in place with no signs of falling out or misplacement. With the set came a double-ended complexion brush which included a striped pattern on the handle which is something that flows through the entire 6 piece collection.

Well I hope you enjoyed this post! If you have any questions on the products or want more specifics just comment below! I also want to apologise for some of my posts being late I've just been super busy with other things! I will get back to regular posting straight away!

My Favourite Nail Polishes For Spring ✽ ✾ ✿ ❁

Spring is nature's way of saying, 'Let's party!' Robin Williams

Hello Everybody, since spring is well and truly here I thought I would go through my favourite Polishes to put the Spring back in your step!

Recently there has been a burst of new nail varnish collections each offering an array of colours and finishes that are universal to anybody. This season has seen a huge collection of pastel colours which is a bonus because everyone loves a good pastel shade, especially for spring!

These are my top 6 picks for this spring! I know its usually top five but I couldn't decide, there were so more I wanted to feature but I managed to narrow it down. Barry M is a pro at creating the most wonderful and unique array of nail varnishes for both texture and colour range. They have just released a collection called the 'Speedy Quick Dry' collection which does exactly what it says on the bottle, it drys super fast, eliminating the annoying feeling of having to wait for your nails to dry. 'Pole Position' & 'Lap of Honour' are such beautiful purple and green pastel colours which leave a great finish on your nails.
The shade 'Elderberry' is from the Gelly collection and is such a beautiful pale blue colour. I don't usually like blue nails but this colour is so subtle and wearable with any outfit I couldn't resist.
As you may know I've been LOVING Rimmel recently and their nail polishes are no different, for me the Rita Ora for Rimmel collection is such great value for money (at as little as £1.49!) and the colours are very much aimed towards spring/summer. One of my absolute favourites is 'Rain,Rain go away' its a very pale purple grey colour and is very interchangeable with any outfit. This colour is perfect for a night out and leaves you feeling very sophisticated.
The last two on my spring favourites are both nail varnish toppers, by this I mean their purpose is to go on top of a colour although you can wear it alone. The 'Pop Art' topper by Rita Ora for Rimmel has recently been my go to polish, I love how it transforms your nail varnish into something quirky and noticeable and love the colour range they have used for the dots themselves. The last polish is from a brand called Essence which I have only recently discovered, I saw someone post about their products on Instagram and went on a mission to find some. I was relatively impressed with the range, and was especially drawn to their nail topper in the shade 'Cupcake'. The topper is filled with little rectangle sequins and is a dusty pink shade its so beautiful to pair with a pastel colour varnish, and would be such a nice addiction to anybody's spring wardrobe.

I hope you enjoyed my favourite spring nail polishes! I would love to know what yours are so leave a comment below. Ill link the products below so if you fancy picking one up you can.

Skincare Routine

"In polite society a well maintained skincare routine is one of life's great successes" Violet Grey

Hello Everybody! Todays post is going to focus on my skincare/makeup routine and the products I use to get my face feeling clean and fresh before applying my makeup.

1) After washing my face with cold water I use the soap and glory sugar scrub to get rid of dry skin especially around my cheek area. I only use this up to two times a week so that my skin has a rest and doesn't get irritated.

2) After washing off the excess product from my face, I dry with a towel and leave for around 5 minutes before applying my moisturiser. Recently I have been using the Garnier Matte Moisturiser since I have combination skin, it works really well and leaves my face feeling soft all day! It doesn't feel heavy or slide throughout the day underneath my makeup and has really been improving my skin since I started using it. If I don't use the Garnier Moisturiser I tend to use Soap and Glory's Orangeasim lotion which works just as well.

3) Once I have applied my moisturiser I use the Benefit Puff Off under my eyes, this has really been helping reduce puffiness under my eyes and is also helping combat my lines and dark circles ( due to late night blogging aha! ). When I first place the product on my eyes it feels abnormally cold which I haven't experienced before but once you get past that Puff Off does such a great job and doesn't move under your makeup! Which is always a bonus.

4) I then apply the Loreal Infallible Mattifying Base Primer. I brought this a few weeks ago to try and I haven't turned back since! It feels so smooth on my face and keeps my makeup intact all day! Ive tried loads of there primers but none have had the same effect and durability as this one! Since I have combination skin this really works well for that and doesn't slide about on my T-Zone.

5) Once I've allowed my primer to settle for a few minutes I use my Rimmel Concelear to tackle under my eyes swell as adding a few swipes at the sides of my nose and chin. I know a lot of people do this process after applying foundation but I don personally feel that works for me and everyone should do what they feel works best for them.

6) Using my Real Techniques Sponge I apply my Loreal Infallible Mattifying Foundation across my face making sure all areas are even and covered. Loreal makes such great foundations and the smallest amount covers my entire face although the foundation is a full coverage it doesn't feel heavy on your skin.

7) Then I apply the rest of my makeup including a bright lipstick for a finishing touch!.
